  • Get pre-approved by a lender

    Not only does this expedite things, but it gives you a better picture of what kind of house works for you.
  • Find a buyer agent

    We are the licensed seller agent, but you’ll need representation on your side as the buyer.
  • Make an offer

    As with any home purchase, you can make an offer to see if it’s accepted. Offers vary on market conditions and interest in the home. Your agent can advise you.
  • Earnest Money

    An earnest money deposit is required to secure the home for purchase.
  • Home inspection

    This is the next step after an offer has been accepted. With newly built homes, the issues are few, but it’s a necessary step to ensure you know what you’re getting. Repairs can be added to the purchase contract as a contingency.
  • Appraisal

    This is necessary for the mortgage company to know the value of the home and estimate property taxes.
  • Builder walkthrough

    RRD will do a walkthrough of the home with the buyer to identify any cosmetic defects.
  • Final walkthrough

    A final walkthrough will take place the day before closing.
  • Congratulations

    After closing, the buyer will receive the keys to their new Red River home.
